Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) lessons are verbally guided movement sequences, which help to clarify fundamental biological movement patterns and bring you closer to your potential. By slowing down, reducing your effort, and becoming aware of your habits and preferences in movement, more of your whole self becomes involved in every action. Previously unseen possibilities become available. Your system becomes more efficient and free to move with ease and spontaneity. See the list Feldenkrais of lessons in the library!

Organic Intelligence is the art of attuning to your nervous system’s naturally arising impulses that move you into your life path. Shifting your attention to the present moment through mapping the environment with your senses, re-orients you in your life. Not only do you become re-oriented in this particular moment and phase in your life, but you get to the heart of why you are here and receive support for forward movement on your life path. When your internal rhythms become more harmonious and find their organic occillation (expansion/ contraction, exceleration/ deceleration, activation/ deactivation…), a natural expansion of capacity occurs. Explore Organic Intelligence practices and teachings in the library.

Weekly Vision:

Weekly Vision is a mindful planning practice I have evolved over the years that helps me manage many to dos and bigger visions, influenced by teachings on productivity and creativity, particularly David Allen's Getting Things Done.

I share some templates that you can customize to fit your life and a few video tutorials for how to use the templates. You can do this process on your own or join in our weekly community meetings Mondays 9:30-10:30am EST. We also meet 4 times a year for 90 minute Quarterly Vision sessions.

Move Create Practice:

Inspired by Authentic Movement practice and Feldenkrais principles, Move Create Practice is designed to support deep creative process with the body as muse. There is a mix of guided guided exploration and open space for your own practice.

connect with your truth and your creative process • develop an embodied/creative practice • move towards your vision • develop self-compassion • open to the unknown • be inspired

Movement and Creativity Library supports people all over the world to engage in embodied and creative practices practices at home. Many people come for pain relief or are looking for a gentle entry into being in their bodies. Each lesson is tagged so you can easily find lessons based on parts of the body, positions, movement patterns, amount of time or different ways to orient to the process.

The work is also helpful for moving beyond stress/ anxiety/ trauma---and the beautiful thing is, the focus is not on the trauma, or the what's-wrong-attention. Like The Feldenkrais Method, Organic Intelligence is looking for what is going well with the person and highlighting that, so that the qualities, sensations, images, associations, life movements begin to trend in an organically supportive direction.

Awaken creativity and access your potential

Screen Shot 2018-03-27 at 1.37.06 PM.png

All of us, whether we practice a visual or performing art or not, are creative beings. We need creativity to enhance and find satisfaction in our daily lives and routines.

While it can be helpful at times to engage our intellects to spark creativity, moving slowly in unfamiliar and novel ways can help us access creativity more instinctively and directly.

Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® lessons and Organic Intelligence practices refresh the brain and nervous system by interrupting habitual thought and emotional patterns, allowing something new and even surprising to emerge.

When we’re at our most creative we are in a flow state rather than feeling stuck, pushing through resistance or operating on autopilot. Connecting to eh environment through the senses and gentle movement, done with awareness and without a goal, can help us transition from a feeling of being blocked, paralyzed or uninspired to a place of greater ease where ideas and insights can arise more freely and spontaneously. When we have a more supple experience of ourselves in the present moment, we have more choice and possibility.

“What I’m after isn’t flexible bodies, but flexible brains. What I’m after is to restore each person to their human dignity.”
–Moshe Feldenkrais

Pain is saying listen!

Many people come to the Feldenkrais Method for pain relief. You will get that and so much more.

What does it mean to really listen? When you observe yourself in movement---sometimes it’s uncomfortable. We speed up to skip over unwanted sensations. Our ambition to be good and do it right interferes with our learning and contributes to our pain. When you are willing to bring patience, honesty, humility, and care to your discomfort and frustrations, a space opens up. You give your nervous system a chance to regulate. New possibilities for acting and sensing emerge and pain dissipates.

“Radical notion that we are able to reintegrate our system through the pathway to pleasure.”
-Steve Hoskinson, Organic Intelligence

"I subscribed to this and here's how I am using it: each time I find myself getting unfocused, distracted, or just plain BLAH for long periods of time in my work I take a break, find a 5 or 8 or 10 minute recording in the library, and follow it. It resets my body, my mind, my creativity and focus. Its worked every time so far  - and it's changing my life!" - Amy Walsh, The Bureau of Tactical Imagination

“I have looked at several other collections of Feldenkrais ATM lesson information, and your Movement and Creativity Library is by far the best I have found.  Not only have you provided a very well cataloged and searchable set of a wide variety of lessons, you lead each lesson with recorded audio instruction.  Thus, one can quickly find and listen to a lesson that meets their needs at that moment - in real time.  Awesome!  I see your library as a great tool for me as a new ATM teacher.”   -3rd year Feldenkrais Trainee

Jeff's August 29th workshop Feldenkrais ATM Renderings: Eyes Organize the Spine, Enhanced is now available in the Library.

"I totally enjoyed this session. Though I'm not a practitioner I experienced a lot of clarity in body and mind. The idea of collapsing versus using all points to ground energy became clear. I love ATMs and have practiced over the years. I love there are a wide variety of somatic educators each bringing their wholeness to the sessions. It is felt by a person who hasn't taken the 3-year training. It makes a big difference to me. Thank you." - Kate Major

"The next level of my autonomic nervous system regulation"

"I really really appreciate your library, and it helps me install what I never had, which is a regular Feldenkrais habit. I love your voice and the way you explain things."

About Tiffany Sankary's teaching:

"Feldenkrais has been an eye-opener for me-- rather than stretching and strengthening, building awareness has turned out to be the most helpful approach I've tried yet in terms of dealing with injury. Recognizing how many choices we have and how much freedom we have in both moving and thinking, instead of focusing on perceived limitations, has certainly made me feel better! And I've also found myself responding differently in conversations with people--slowing down and listening more... Feldenkrais has opened up things for me I didn't know were closed..."
–Rachel Wiseman, Psy.D.

“I recommend Tiffany's teaching to anyone who wants more freedom to move, more self-compassion, and a healthier mind-body relationship.”
–Zan Barry, health coach/ yoga instructor

"Experiencing Feldenkrais with Tiffany has helped me understand that certain beliefs, habits and perspectives are no longer working for me and that change is possible.”
–Jennifer Recklet Tassi, Community Organizer

"I’m inspired by the work you do, on all fronts, and the not perfect, growing approach you take. A great model for all of us." -Judith Morse, retired massage therapist
