From Stiff Back and Ankle Pain to Fluid Movement: A JKA Solvents and Glue Review

The Physical Shift: From Stiffness and Pain to Ease

"First, the changes in my body: My lower stiff back is a bit less stiff, my curled up toes are a bit less curled up. My stiff and painful legs are not painful anymore. My knees are also a bit better. I walk better because I can unwind my feet better. The greatest changes are my whole legs; they felt the last time so stiff, unpleasant and a bit painful, and that is really gone! "

The Process: Learning JKA Solvents and Glue Online

A mirror as support + clear and precise demonstrations

"Doing a workshop on the internet without a teacher who can correct me is not an easy thing to manage. What helped me in the first place was the remark of Jeremy Krauss to use a mirror. Because if you are not conscious of what you are doing, you cannot change it, he says during the workshop. The mirror was a great support.

Another very important thing were all the demonstrations with people from the group. If he talked to a person, then I hear it as if he talks to me. And indeed many times I had the same challenges as the person he talked to. The third thing was looking very precisely at what he showed on the videos, like showing how to keep your heel high up at the back leg. All these three aspects were good conditions for me to learn. So yes, I discovered I can learn from an on-demand workshop."

The "Spiral Staircase" Epiphany

Solving the "ongoing pain" mystery by changing a 30-times-a-day habit

"I want to give you just one example how all this worked out. When I looked in the mirror during the workshop, I saw that my right ankle of my back leg was not able to go right up. But instead, the ankle moved to the right, so that my whole foot tilted to the right. It cost me some days to change that habit during the exercises.

Then I started thinking why that happened. And then after a week I realized: In my house is a very steep spiral staircase with small steps. I can only descend that staircase if I tilt my feet and ankle to the right, because the steps are so narrow. And I descend that staircase more or less 30 times a day.

I am not sure if you get what kind of staircase I talk about—you do not have that in the USA, but we have them in old houses in the Netherlands. From the time on I discovered this, I decided to descend the staircase backwards. And then the ongoing pain in my ankle going up to my knee just got less. So very surprising and unexpected changes are happening."
