The Feldenkrais Method®:

“It is not just a method of body movement, but rather an awakening of bodily resourcefulness and creativity.” –Ruthy Alon

Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) lessons are verbally guided movement sequences that refresh the brain and nervous system by interrupting habitual physical, thought and emotional patterns, allowing something new and even surprising to emerge. More of your whole self becomes involved in every action. Previously unseen possibilities become available. Your system becomes more efficient and free to move with ease and spontaneity.

Organic Intelligence®:

"Attention tends to potentiate the process it goes toward.”
-Steve Hoskinson

Organic Intelligence is the art of attuning to your nervous system’s naturally arising impulses that move you into your life path. Shifting your attention to the present moment through mapping the environment with your senses, re-orients you in your life. When your internal rhythms become more harmonious and find their organic oscillation (expansion/ contraction, acceleration/ deceleration, activation/ deactivation…), a natural expansion of capacity occurs.

Move Create Practice:

"I began by asking them in what way they would practice or work alone, that is, without teaching or being taught." - Mary Starks Whitehouse

Inspired by Authentic Movement practice, Move Create Practice is designed to support deep creative process with the body as muse. There is a mix of guided exploration and open space for your own practice. We meet once a month online for 90 minutes. The recordings go in the library.

Weekly Vision:

Weekly Vision is a mindful planning practice I have evolved over the years that helps me manage many to dos and bigger visions, influenced by teachings on productivity and creativity, particularly David Allen's Getting Things Done.

You can do this process on your own via templates and videos or join in our weekly community meetings Mondays 9:30-10:30am EST. We also meet 4 times a year for 90 minute Quarterly Vision sessions.

"These recordings are so valuable. Literally life-saving and life-giving."  - Tony Arnold, Artist-Teacher of Voice

"A vast and inviting playground..." -Nick Brown, retired

"Easy access to guided ATMs that are nicely paced and feel supportive of my process of discovery." -Marcia Giudice, Feldenkrais Practitioner

"I subscribed and here's how I am using it: each time I find myself getting unfocused, distracted, or just plain BLAH for long periods of time in my work I take a break, find a 5 or 8 or 10 minute recording in the library, and follow it. It resets my body, my mind, my creativity and focus. Its worked every time so far  - and it's changing my life!"
- Amy Walsh, Artist & Educator, The Bureau of Tactical Imagination

"This library is a tool for being alive---I come to Feldenkrais pursuing a better connection to my body after earning repetitive strain injury in both my forearms" - Amy Halloran, Writer

"I'm a Feldenkrais Method practitioner and the library is an amazing tool to improve the way I teach. The way it is organized has been (and still is!) a very, very interesting way of rethinking the way I choose, organize and present the lessons to those who come to class. It is hard for me to express clearly how big of a deal that has been for me, since I think that the library has helped me relate to the Feldenkrais world in a much more dynamic, interesting and CREATIVE way." - Alejandra Tibaudin, Feldenkrais Practitioner

“I have looked at several other collections of Feldenkrais ATM lesson information, and your Movement and Creativity Library is by far the best I have found.  Not only have you provided a very well cataloged and searchable set of a wide variety of lessons, you lead each lesson with recorded audio instruction.  Thus, one can quickly find and listen to a lesson that meets their needs at that moment - in real time.  Awesome!  I see your library as a great tool for me as a new ATM teacher.”   -3rd year Feldenkrais Trainee

How people are benefiting from the library:

"A lifesaver"
-Robin Robertson, Retired Martial Arts Teacher

"A slow, investigative, non judgmental, creative ground that nourishes my body and soul!"
-Elizabeth Coleman

I can access a grand variety of well organized, high quality lessons in the comfort and quiet of my home. I am so enjoying tuning in to my body in this way. I love the concept of giving my brain the feedback it needs to allow my body to function optimally. And, best of all, I am already experiencing major improvements in balance, flexibility and ease of movement. It is truly extraordinary and I am delighted!

Through your thoughtfulness and generosity in creating the library you have opened a door for me into my wellbeing. Physically for sure, but also on more levels than I can yet quite grasp, or articulate. I am excited for what is to come and for the fun and satisfaction I will have along the way! So, thank you Tiffany! - Maureen

"Movement & Creativity Library means spaciousness and expansion for me. Here, I always find calm, gratitude and trust in human potential…

As a student/practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method, it reminded me of what I experienced as being essential to the method and also of what I want to convey to students as a practitioner. The contents of the library have a richness on a master level, for with them my learning is growing in depth." - Sofia Figueiredo

"I signed up for the library thinking I'd do maybe one lesson a month, and now I'm using it daily..."

"I need as few obstacles as possible between me and my daily practice right now."

“I really love it! it's incredibly helpful for me and often changes how I feel so dramatically. I use it when my system is really shut down, or just for interest and fun. I like the variety of teachers and the variety of processes, positions, and times so I can just do whatever seems appealing. I really like the way there's support of so many kinds, but yet I can do it at my own pace and when my system needs it most. The lessons are sometimes astonishing in their impact, especially since the process is so gentle.”

“I enjoy fluidity of the movement, the open and abundant feeling of the library, and the spaciousness of the lessons.” -Judith Tamarah, Interior Designer

“I have dystonia, and in my search for solutions, I found the Feldenkrais method and Tiffany. With the combination of Feldenkrais and physical therapy, my mobility issues are now almost invisible, and I can't thank Tiffany (and her recoded lessons!) enough for that. Feldenkrais has not only helped me avoid further disabilities, and alleviate the discomfort/pain from the poor body positions the dystonia tend to force my body into. It also gave me hope when I most needed it. :) (Thank you Tiffany for organizing this library!)” -Juwell

“I like how the ATMs are cross referenced in regards to subject, body part, presenter, time and being able to look through and easily find lessons that interest me and that I have time for.” -Mercedes von Deck, MD

"Really like the creative aspects of approaching our work!" -Suellen Bartel, Feldenkrais Practitioner

"The next level of my autonomic nervous system regulation"

"I really really appreciate your library, and it helps me install what I never had, which is a regular Feldenkrais habit. I love your voice and the way you explain things."

“Love exploring a lesson or reading about a concept and making new connections. That makes me very happy.”

"A more alive, artful and creative outlook on my day-to-day activities."

"I am finding the lessons I do everyday now, a very solid base"

“I love the interconnections between the varied practices offered.”  -Joanna Groebel, Creative Arts/Trauma Therapist

“Movement and Creativity Library is a treasure trove which Tiffany has carefully built for accessibility, pleasure and learning. Her generosity knows no bounds.” -Karen Clay LMP, Board Certified Structural Integrator

“Potential to create, feel, and view my self.”

“A daily treat to add to my own movement exploration & inform my practice with others”

“I love that you are constantly adding to it, and that it's there when I am ready to use it.” -Dina Kennedy, energy healer, teacher, coach

“I have learned different ways of approaching ATM's and am getting a greater understanding of the variety and connections between ATM's, teaching approaches, and being kind to myself in my learning process.”
-Dawne Roy, OccupationLearning Specialist/ Feldy Student

"I truly appreciate all that you do and that you are and the incredible softness, ease and generosity with which you guide and hold space for us in this community." - Tanja Mateljan

"I have been listening to your library almost constantly this past week. . . initially to help remediate an injury pattern, but then. . . for the calming and reassurance of Feldenkrais training as a legitimate path, despite the obstacles, and for your special integration of arts, presence, and community! It - you - have been such a blessing!!! Thank you!" -Lisa Wittrup

"The practices in this library have helped me to "find my ground" at a time (Covid-19 wise) when the ground itself has felt shaky. I really appreciated the clear directions and these have allowed me to place my awareness inside myself in such a way that has supported me to be more "in" my body. Tiffany's voice and pace are a good match for my nervous system - and I have loved the off the cuff remarks she includes which seem to open my mind beyond my habitual patterns of thinking. Thanks so much for the wonderful and varied practices offered here! A go-to resource for me now." -Aicha, Psychotherapist, Australia

About Move Create Practice:

open%2Bspace%2Bedit2.jpg

“Tiffany creates a very safe, structured yet flexible environment in which I have experienced freedom from self-editing, judgmental attitudes toward my own creative expression.” -Naomi, artist

“Creating, combined with moving seemed to come from a place of connection, of deep listening and trusting. And that familiar attitude of "simply getting things done“ now appears empty in comparison.”
-Sarah Aßmann, Musician/Feldenkrais practitioner, Bielefeld/Germany

"I appreciated the safe, focused space in which to explore and be with my creative practice and reconnect to my relationship with the unknown." -Ean Spangler, massage therapist, artist

"I was able to bridge my instinctual self with my cognitive self just a little bit more! The result is a more fluid life experience, where the results of my daily decisions reflect my authenticity and return more of the things I want in my life!" -Cody Remaklus, Professor of Music and Feldenkrais Practitioner

“I learned to integrate my creative energy and focus into more areas of my life. I no longer think of creative time and space as so separate from the rest of who I am and what I do. As a result I feel more connected to myself and my work.” -Jackie Wolfman, Psychologist

About Weekly Vision:

Screen+Shot+2018-12-16+at+4.51.40+PM.png

“Weekly Vision helped me organize my life at the time I needed most. It helped me see the bigger picture and the little tasks at the same time.  I truly believe that without this process and being a part of the lovely community that Tiffany created, I wouldn’t be able to be as productive and creative as I am today. The weekly meetings are the anchor that helps me start each week and be successful.” -Revital Ganzi, Jewish Educator

"Weekly Vision has been transformational - it’s a “container” for getting my brain focused" -Lin Adams, Life Coach

“The weekly vision meetings support my focus and clarity for the week!” - Ariane

"The process and the energy of the group is extremely motivating!" -Tracy Magda, IT for Penn State University

“I'm so grateful for these Weekly Visions as well as the Quarterly Visions. They provide spaciousness while functioning as an anchor for me.” - Tarja Moles, Writer

“Over the past year that I've been engaged regularly with Weekly Vision, the process has been a container for balancing the many different pieces of a freelance life, project planning, accountability to myself and my communities, and seeing vague ideas come into fruition and progress to new projects. I appreciate showing up online to a fluctuating community of people who come together for this process -- so much better than going at it alone! It really is an approach to self-organization that dovetails nicely with all of Tiffany's other offerings. Thank you Tiffany!!” -Eve Boltax, Musician

About Tiffany Sankary's teaching:

“I recommend Tiffany's teaching to anyone who wants more freedom to move, more self-compassion, and a healthier mind-body relationship.”
–Zan Barry, health coach/ yoga instructor

"Feldenkrais has been an eye-opener for me-- rather than stretching and strengthening, building awareness has turned out to be the most helpful approach I've tried yet in terms of dealing with injury. Recognizing how many choices we have and how much freedom we have in both moving and thinking, instead of focusing on perceived limitations, has certainly made me feel better! And I've also found myself responding differently in conversations with people--slowing down and listening more... Feldenkrais has opened up things for me I didn't know were closed..." –Rachel Wiseman, Psy.D.

“I *love* your work, your presence, your attention to detail, your care for people, the connection with Beauty I associate with you.” -Wanda Pierce

I come to this work from trauma healing perspective and have found your lessons very soothing for my nervous system.” - Heidi, Feldenkrais Trainee

"This practice (and especially Tiffany's way of guiding the process of sensing) is opening my heart & awareness to support a genuine experience of self."
- Elise Krause, Physician Assistant and Movement Educator

"I’m inspired by the work you do, on all fronts, and the not perfect, growing approach you take. A great model for all of us." -Judith Morse, retired massage therapist

“Tiffany provides a gentle rigor – her enthusiasm is matched with clarity.”

"Experiencing Feldenkrais with Tiffany has helped me understand that certain beliefs, habits and perspectives are no longer working for me and that change is possible.”
–Jennifer Recklet Tassi, Community Organizer

“What Tiffany Sankary offers to the world is nothing short of extraordinary. Through the combination of reading her book, downloading her courses, and meeting with her, I was able to imagine and experience being free from chronic pain for the first time in a decade. Her work opened up undiscovered ways of moving, new possibilities for adventure, and even new ways of seeing myself that contribute to a sense of ease, agility, creative fortitude, and graceful power.”
-Bina Venkataraman, Writer

“Feldenkrais helps me feel like a superhero who can face the world without slouching! It’s a life-changing experience!” - Vivian C

"I love your voice, pacing, selective choice of guidance, clarity... really of an engaging quality/ high in my experience." - Constance DeFotis, retired professor, conductor and singer

"I love Tiffany's ATM lessons because they help me integrate the kinesthetic sense with mental understanding. After her ATM lessons I feel my body soft supple and plyable like WATER!”
-Anat Simcha, Yoga Instructor, Israel

"All your work leaves huge traces within my life. It’s not only intellectually satisfying (hey there, left brain ;) but also tangibly influencing the actual direct physical experience of life." -Sarah Aßmann, Musician/ Feldenkrais practitioner

"Your library is a great resource and very inspiring. It is something I return to when I feel unsettled. It has allowed me to continue to delve into and to explore my relationship with my inner world and with the world around me while at the same time I feel supported and part of a community." -Aisling Geary, student
