Lesson 1

Bringing attention to what has been out of our attention:

“From a bodily perspective, we can define the physical unconscious as the sensations that we aren’t perceiving, aren’t engaging with. And just like the traditional mental model of the unconscious, the physical unconscious is a rich source of information, memory, and repressed life. Our physical unconscious is accessible through the Awareness phase. We learn to focus our attention toward that which we have habitually kept out of our attention field. We have been used to defining ourselves through what we are used to paying attention to. By becoming willing to attend to anything that our senses can perceive, we expand ourselves, increasing our adaptiveness and enriching the world.” – Christine Caldwell
