JKA Online Series — Winter 2026

Two very different workshops. Two very different experiences of the same underlying work.

One is about finding stillness. The other is about watching structure emerge, live. Together, they offer two distinct ways of experiencing the ideas and principles that shape everything I teach.

From One Movement

with Jeremy Krauss — a weekend online via Zoom

January 23 & 24

Show me one movement. A single position. Or two movements, one after the other. That's all I need.

Show me one movement. A single position. Or two movements, one after the other. That's all I need.

From that alone, I'll build a complete lesson — live, in front of you, with no preparation and no script. Once each lesson takes shape, I'll walk through exactly how and why I built it the way I did: the structural principles, the sequencing decisions, and the underlying logic that turns one small piece of movement into a lesson capable of creating real, lasting change.

Over this weekend, we'll do this again and again — different participants, different starting movements, different lessons — so the underlying structure becomes visible not as a single trick, but as a repeatable way of thinking.

This isn't a demonstration of technique — it's a window into process. Most of what I teach, I teach as a finished lesson. This workshop shows you how a lesson gets made in the first place.

Who This Is For

• Movement teachers and practitioners who want to understand lesson design, not just lessons

• JKA graduates and students looking to deepen their grasp of the underlying structures

• Feldenkrais® and ABM students and practitioners, as well as somatic practitioners curious about my work and JKA

• Anyone who learns better by watching a process unfold than by following a fixed plan

What You'll Experience

• Live, unscripted lesson creation, built from participants' own movements

• A clear breakdown of the structural principles behind each decision

• Insight into how movement is read, and how a single gesture can reveal a whole lesson's worth of material

• Repetition across two days — seeing the same underlying structure applied to different starting points

• A deeper understanding of what makes a movement lesson actually create change — not just repetition, but structure

• A clear, direct look at how lessons are built

• One or more participants may offer a movement, a position, or a question, each shaping either a new lesson structure or a continuation of the lesson just taught
